5-Step Fertilizing Plan
STEP 1 (APRIL 15 – MAY 10): Fertilizer plus Crabgrass Control. Crabgrass, under normal Ohio weather, does not germinate until mid to late May. This product is a pre and post emergence control. It will kill the crabgrass before it germinates or after it sprouts. Once the crabgrass is established, it will not kill it. Watering Instructions
Newly planted trees require minimum 20 mins on a slow trickle and shrubs require minimum 10 secs (x2) on a slow trickle. See chart above for frequency based on planting season. Always water at the base of the plant!! Overhead watering can cause leaf scorch and produce more stress on the newly planted tree and/or shrub. Watering deeply and thoroughly and only as needed will encourage a deep and healthy root system that will be able to withstand environmental stresses. Apply
