We offer a plant-for-plant warranty on items purchased from our store. This includes a 6-month replacement at half the current retail price, beginning on your purchase date. For instance, if you purchase a Green Gem Boxwood for $38 on May 1st and it doesn’t survive, you can get a replacement for $19, half the retail price, anytime before November 1st.

During periods of inclement weather, our hours of operation may change. We might open later or close earlier than usual. We encourage customers to call ahead to confirm our schedule.

You do not need to purchase a full yard or ton of materials. We are able to load a quarter or half yard, and our scale provides the flexibility to load stone in any increment, with a minimum purchase of $25.

Our dyed mulch is safe for pets. The colorant blends used to enhance the mulch are made from vegetable-based dyes and are nontoxic.

To minimize the risk of dyed mulch staining your driveway, we recommend laying a tarp or requesting plastic when scheduling your order. If mulch is left on a concrete surface for an extended period, using a pressure washer can help remove any stains.

If your dyed mulch fades after rainfall, it is likely because it did not have sufficient time to dry. We suggest spreading mulch when there will be at least 48 hours without rain. If rain occurs within 24-48 hours of spreading, you can use a spring tine rake to fluff the mulch.

Small pebbles may be present in your topsoil because our smallest screener is 5/8”, allowing pea-sized pebbles to pass through. These pebbles will not affect your lawn or landscape project.

Dust and grit on decorative stone are typically caused by residual quarry dust, environmental factors like wind-blown soil, natural degradation, or from the crushing process during production.

We do not sell sod directly. Instead, we recommend contacting the Kent Sod Farm at (330) 524-9411 for sod needs. We do offer a range of lawn products, including seed, straw, fertilizer, and soil.

We are not permitted to dump bulk products in the street, as local law enforcement prohibits this and imposes fines for violations. Additionally, we only dump on paved surfaces to prevent damage to both our trucks and your driveway or lawn.
