Eastern White Pine
Is the tallest conifer native to eastern North America, frequently reaching heights of 80-150 feet. It is highly valued for its rapid growth, soft blue-green needles, and historical significance as a primary source for ship masts during the colonial era. Prefers full sun and well-drained, acidic soil. It is adaptable to various soil types but is sensitive to road salt and air pollution.
