Color Enhanced Mulch
Our brilliant color enhances our dyed double shredded mulches which come in a varied of colors including Black, Brown, and Red.
1 yard of mulch will cover approximately 100 sq. ft. 2" - 2.5" deep
Colored Black (Ultra Black Color) Colored Brown (Cocoa Brown Color) Colored Red (Rich Red Color)
Color Enhanced mulch coverage is the same but.... Elliott's Garden Center recommends installing colored mulch when there is 24 hours without rain.
The color will stay vibrant for a longer time period when it has time to dry.
Mulch Tip: To maintain the vibrant color of your mulch throughout the season, cover it if precipitation is forecasted. Spread colored mulch when it will be dry for 48 hours without rainfall. If rain occurs within 24-48 hours, you may use a spring tine rake to fluff the mulch. We do not recommend applying colored mulch around ponds or swimming pools.
